Inspector Status Verification
API strives to maintain accurate, reliable, and current information on certification. However, inadvertent mistakes may exist in the database. If you discover an apparent mistake or discrepancy, please contact the Individual Certification Programs at 202-682-8064 immediately.
Search Instructions:
- Select Certification Program.
- Search by name using the last name only (first name is not required to perform the search). If you are unsure of the correct spelling of the last name, you may enter only the first part of that name followed by an "*", e.g., if the last name is 'Adams' entering 'Ad*' in the search field will yield all of the API certified inspectors for the programs you have selected whose names begin with 'Ad'.
- Alternatively, if you know the certification ID number for an individual inspector you may search by using that inspector's certification ID number.
